September 24, 2002KID ROCK and LYNYRD SKYNYRD have recorded a new version of "Gimme Back My Bullets", the title song to the Southern rock band's 1976 album, but have no firm plans to release it. SKYNYRD frontman Johnny Van Zant says that the song could appear on the next SKYNYRD studio album or on an archival collection.
In other news, Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson have reportedly set the date for their marriage and have announced they plan to tie the knot during one of his gigs. The nuptials will allegedly happen during the interval of the gig in Las Vegas on November 9th. 34-year-old Anderson has already broken off their engagement, vowing that she would not marry Kid as long as he has a drinking problem. She soon changed her mind, however, and the marriage was declared back on. Pamela's ex-husband, and the father to her two children, former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee, is unlikely to be shedding many tears over the union. When he was asked about her upcoming marriage he said he would like to give Kid Rock a big hug and thank him.
